Project Partners

VAI project is set up by 10 partners from Academia, Civil Society, Local Government and the Media. The partnership is balanced between Mediterranean countries, Italy and Greece, that ultimately have a role of gateway to Europe, and traditional immigrant destinations, such as Austria and Germany.

Hellenic Red Cross

The Hellenic Red Cross, member of the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, is the biggest and oldest humanitarian organization in Greece. HRC’s mission is based on volunteering, aiming to alleviate human suffering both in war and in peace by supporting the injured, elderly and vulnerable population groups in general, regardless of their political, racial, religious or ideological background. To this date, the NGO hosts about 300 refugees & asylum seekers, including unaccompanied minors and offers free services to the migrant population of four Italian regions.
